| How does COPRA Professional Design Module for Shaped
Tubes work? Calculation of respective angle values or the so-called topographical method. The drawing left shows an example of the "angle-method". A correct distribution of compression values allows the user to avoid "undercuts" which might lead otherwise to difficulties during the production. Compression in single forming passes may can also be set to a resulting total profile compression value (over the whole calibration from round to special shape). ![]() In case of uniform forming, the arc angles of the shaping steps are exactly within the angles of the respective entities in the two adjacent passes.
