COPRA Data Base Management System handles sections, flower patterns and rolls, includes a repetition part retrieval with customised criterions (geometry, material, roll number) as well as the Fourier analysis to find similar parts. This software package has been used by major tube mill- and profile manufacturers each of them handling thousands of stock rolls in their data bases.
It is available in a PC-based as well as a Unix version in order to achieve highest performance.  

COPRA DBMS does also allow a continous quality management and has got an interface to the COPRA Roll Scanner, an optical roll inspection machine.
COPRA Roll Scanner is tailored to quality control purposes as well as scanning existing rolls and putting them to a data base. This archiving process allows a later re-use of already existing rolls (repitive parts) in new sets of toolings or just as a raw material for new rolls ("usable junk rolls").
